Multihyphenate musician and philanthropist BLOND:ISH, who recently added a single with the queen of pop, Madonna, to her resume, has returned with the anthemic  “Call My Name.” The high energy track mixes ABBA sensibilities with Earth, Wind and Fire tinged beats, all blended together into a dance hit.

“Call My Name” fills the gap between 80s inspired dance music and modern house music. BLOND:ISH wields her production like a weapon, crafting a song that glitters like a bonafide disco ball. A synthed out shout of “I want you to feel it/Coming for you/When you call my name” loops over the charming, pumped up production.

The title of “song of the summer” is thrown around like a frisbee at a 4th of July barbeque, but among other attempts to blend the groove of the 70s and 80s with contemporary dance music, “Call My Name” is as close as it gets.

Keep up with BLOND:ISH on Twitter and Instagram.
