As an artist, one of the most challenging things to do is allowing yourself to be honest, open, and vulnerable within one's artistic outlet. That never seems to be an issue with Philadelphia’s own, Cain Kerner, who’s latest music video “I Needed To Vent” tells his story. The whole video is one shot with no cuts, showing Cain staying in the same position the whole time (only moving his head to rap) but it never gets stagnant and it's hard to take your eyes off him. Dressed in an all black fit sporting a dope Cowboy hat, he raps while getting showered with water and doesn't budge one bit, adding to the cinematic effect of the song very well.

“I Needed To Vent” is a smooth acoustic guitar laced track with a catchy Latin influenced melody, that makes you either one to dance or sit down and self reflect. One of the bars that stuck out the most was “Hurt people hurt people, learn from that, I'm tryna move on but I keep turning back” because of how relatable it is. Moving on after being hurt is always a challenge. However, one of the best ways to help getting over being hurt is music, and Cain’s track is very therapeutic.

A self directed music video as well, one can see that music is a big part of how he channels his emotions and he keeps that personal connection between him and his fans which is always appreciated. You can follow Cain Kerner on Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok where has a very strong following at 853 THOUSAND followers (he gives life advice while eating rare fruits, showcases his music, and has hilarious skits as well) @CainKerner all platforms! Be on the lookout for “It's Always Something” dropping sometime this month, and make sure to bump his latest project “Find Yourself” a 7 track album that'll keep you moving and grooving for sure.
