JR SPECS Promises to "GETCHA GEEKED"

It may not be apricot season just yet, but JR SPECS comes with juice on his newest single “GETCHA GEEKED.” After a 6-month sabbatical from the rap game, JR comes with a self-produced banger to follow up his coming-of-age album 99 DAYDREAM in the latter half of 2020.

 All the way out in Hampden, Maine, JR SPECS must’ve forgot about the ice this winter because he was sliding on this track. As he flows over a simplistic and upbeat record, the track focuses on JR’s ability to create a fun atmosphere through the use of his pen. As he switches flows throughout his verses, you start to realize that JR didn’t come to play, but to RAP. 

 Perfecting his craft over a 5-year span, this one-man operation becomes even more impressive considering the reach he has gained in the past year. In his final year at UConn, JR is setting the stage to turn the rap dream into a full-time career.
