Khado Gears Up for "Kickoff"

If the name Khado rings a bell, well that’s because he is far from new in the rap game, and nearly a household name if you’re a resident of Chicago. If the name is still familiar to you but you don’t reside in the windy city, then A: you’re tapped in, or B: you’ve been following Sparky since the last write-up on Khado. Regardless of your answer, one thing stays true, which is, you’re clearly with the shits.

Whether you’re a longtime fan of the blog, or just happened to stumble across Khado today, youre in the right place. After the release of “Big Kash” and “Whistle,” Khado starts 2021 off on the right foot with his new infectious single “Kickoff.” In true Chicago fashion, the song is quick to build up with trap drums and busy wordplay, emulating the energy felt during a kickoff, while also becoming the perfect song to throw on the aux when you’re with the homies.

With the premiere of the new song, Khado dropped a fun and playful video, allowing the piece to come to life. Working with longtime collaborator, Yuck Dev, the two were able to build something together that visually matches the record.

As the year continues, you can expect Khado to keep popping off and even release his debut album - The Real Kash Baby. Until we get a full-length project from the Chicago native, make sure to go spin his single on full volume.
