Prettyboyworldwyde insists to Slow It Down in “All My Time”

Prettyboyworldwyde has steadily released 12 new singles since the beginning of the year, each giving us a different perspective on his creative execution. His most recent record, “All My Time,” is a slow R&B tune that effectively draws attention to his tender vocals using delicate instrumentations and production.

“All My Time” expresses the frustrations of not being on the same page with a significant other. The slowly wavering chords sonically illustrate these sentiments to a tee. The way the instrumentation breaks at the end of each of prettyboyworldwyde’s passionate phrases is incredibly enticing. And, of course, the chorus initiates an expansion in production. The cover photo, which features a dark alley lit by only a few lights, fits these characteristic sounds perfectly. There’s a distorted synth backing his lyrics that really allude to that empty space depicted here that allows these deep thoughts to come through. One of my favorite moments in this track is the ending—the once minimal but groovy chords fade into the synths as they become more slowed, almost extraterrestrial. It feels mysterious and unresolved, the way we usually feel when contemplating how much time we want to dedicate to relationships that, possibly, aren’t even worth it.

At this pace, Prettyboyworldwyde will definitely be releasing more music in the days to come. Stay on the lookout for where his ambiance will take us next.
