Radig Navigates Through His Headspace
Iowa’s very own, Radig just released his debut project, Headspace, into the world and it is nothing short of spectacular. Being more than just a rapper, he is also credited with writing and co-producing every track with AstoriaBlvd, Zero, KannaBoyd, DillyGotItBumpin, and KRYNE earning the title of, Radig the Composer. The 7-song project comes in just short of 22 minutes leaving no time unused and cutting straight to the point.
During the rollout for this album, Radig released two singles over the span of 5 months accompanied with visuals. He started off with “Broken Promises” displaying himself in a straitjacket while he quickly loses his mind as a compelling visual. Shortly after, he released the second and final single “All Eyes On Me”, which has a more colorful visual and a message that relates to anyone trying to find their own lane.
Additionally, what really drew me in to this album was the intro, “Clarity”. Normally just a filler track for an album, Radig uses the placement to set the stage for the rest of the album.
Radig’s career is just getting started but this project was not made overnight. Although it is his first project on major streaming services, he has been sitting on this project for the past year and finally found the right time to release it. Personally, I am very hyped off this project and can’t wait for more. There was not a single song that didn’t fit the Headspace mold and was curated to perfection.
As time moves on, the name Radig will become more and more familiar. I’m looking forward to his next move and can feel some strong collaborations coming from the Iowa native soon.
