Philadelphia’s Sally Boy released his second single “Stormy”, an act of self-reckoning and appreciation of your companion during your relationship.

Moving to Los Angeles originally pursuing an education at USC in the music program, Erez Potok-Holmes, or known by his alias Sally Boy has always had a presence in music from an early age. From being apart of an alternative band to making the big jump moving across the country pursuing a career in the industry that he loves, it was a progressive change that shaped where he has come today.

First coming upon the Ourros team while settling at USC, Sally Boy would get to the know the team fairly quickly and was introduced to the local roster which included UMI, Kyle Lux, and Kid Hastings. Building a strong relationship with talents at Ourros, Sally Boy would eventually become managed and inherited into the group of creatives. In early July, Sally Boy would release his self-titled debut single, which gained a positive response catching the attention of various publications and placements.

This past week, Sally Boy would continue to build off his momentum with his second single “Stormy”, a must-have track for bedroom pop fans during the summertime. With the help of Cole Mitchell, Joe Avio, HongKong Boyfriend, Riley Knapp,Aamir Khuller, Eddie Mandell, and the Ourros family, Sally Boy’s “Stormy” once again displayed the vocal talents and potential the Pennsylvania native possesses. I wanted to mention was how easy the lyrics are to sing, the catchy chorus of “Day and Night She’s My Summertime Storm” was so clever yet so simple. While I loved the use of sounds in the instrumentals, it honestly sounded like it could be a modernized soundtrack in Tom Nook’s Grocery Store haha.

Needless to say, Sally Boy has had a great reaction for fans in the bedroom pop and alternative genres. He’s built a name for himself that will be notable in the following months. With the guidance from the Ourros team who have previously had loads of success with their roster, it seems Sally Boy may be the next to blossom from USC.
