Like humans, every app has a backbone - or someone who, knowingly or not, carries the app on their very back with what they bring to the platform. For TikTok, that person is Delli Boe. The 20-year-old rapper born in Belize has been navigating massive internet fame since blowing up on TikTok with several viral sounds that pretty much took over the app for months at a time. The rapper undeniably carried TikTok throughout 2019 and 2020 with his “Sex Talk” freestyle and since has been releasing his own music and collaborations routinely. Most of his viral sounds were straight off the dome, highlighting his incredible talent, and they resonated with people enough to share, dance to and remix millions and millions of times. Delli Boe was lucky to have been on TikTok during the height of the pandemic, when the app generated tons of new users stuck at home, where all there was to do was mindlessly scroll. Everything Delli Boe drops on there proves to be a banger, showing how the universe aligns perfectly for this star to shine every time.

Delli Boe’s flow is deliciously organic, consistent with crips bars that get stuck in your head. His rapping skills are undeniable, and his lyrics are refreshing in a space that usually shuns queer voices. In tracks such as “Bisexual Problems” and “That Bitch”, Delli raps about the usual hip hop themes- sex, money and success - but his unique perspective as a bisexual man makes his lyrics that much more sickening. In a good way, of course. He will take your man and your girl without a second thought, and you’ll honestly probably like it. The confidence and roughness of his flow is really what pulls the listener in as he seems to rap with a sort of hunger and passion, one that is exceptional to his experience.
