“International Player” Yung Joka Showcases his Talents Off the Gridiron

Mobile, Alabama native Yung Joka may not be a familiar name at first, but that is because music is just one of his many talents and passions. His given name, Kadarius Toney, may be a bit more prevalent, as he was recently a 1st Round pick by the New York Giants in this past April’s draft, coming out of the University of Florida as a wide receiver. While football may be what he is most known for right now, he is looking to become one of the next big-time athletes with a popular music career, joining the likes of Damian Lillard and Lonzo Ball. He already has two full length albums to his name and other projects as well, with his most recent EP being “Warrior 2”, a five-song project released earlier this year.

His most recent release, “International Player”, dropped on June 19 with a music video on YouTube. The song displays Joka’s multifaceted talent while on the mic as he switches flows gracefully and brings an addicting hook to compliment the rest of the song and create a catchy sound that you will want on repeat. The production, done by Swan Beatz, meshes perfectly with Toney’s lyrics and style and gives the song a whole new element.

While Joka is relatively new to the hip-hop scene, it is obvious he has plenty of talent and combined with his on-field prestige, he is an exciting new name to watch for future releases. It will be fun to watch him put up numbers in the music industry to go alongside his numbers on the gridiron, as he looks to be one of the few prominent NFL players to make a name for himself in the rap game.
