After a three-year collaboration with UK-based label Oleeva Records, Boucan is expanding his sound towards fast-paced electronics and dimensional euphonies in his latest self-release EP, Relief.

The three-track EP is a mesmerizing journey through the complexities of the human mind, a descent into the psyche that explores the duality of darkness, connection, and self-discovery through powerful and pensive soundscapes. Relief acts as a musical prism, refracting Boucan's shapeshifting identity between trance, breakbeat, and house music.

French for 'noise' or 'uproar,' the Parisian DJ and producer is ready to break out in pandemonium, demanding the club's energy and the mind's attention. Both intellectually stimulating and emotionally resonant, Boucan meticulously crafts immersive journeys through realms of electronic music.

As Boucan seamlessly blends diverse styles into a cohesive experience, Relief permeates between ethereal soundscapes, driving rhythms similar to Malin Génie and Shanti Celeste, and minimal trance house.

Confronting internal struggles with infectious techno beats, "Something Inside Me" motions the listener to run inwards towards the soul. With a face-paced ascension that leans into a trancey tail-end, the track takes hold of the headspace, locking you into the optimal dream zone.

Equal parts intellectual and energetic, "Being Friends" has a euphoric beat that prompts reflection on the true meaning of connection.

The EP's single, "Rumbling Thoughts," is a multifaceted track that intertwines breakbeat grooves and gritty baselines with ethereal vocals.

The three tracks resemble a disco ball spinning and reflecting glittery polychrome lights. You can expect techno, trance, and moody breakbeats to be played all night long from Boucan’s club gigs.

Boucan's music is a collection of everything noisy, moody, introspective, and danceable. As a transportative experience, Relief is a testament to the power of sound, inviting listeners to embark on sonic voyages of discovery. As an artist on the path of evolution, Boucan boasts a unique vision for electronic music.
