Nick Souza is unlike any other artist. Nick Souza’s artistry has grown and developed to new heights by creating his own genre: RnBaile. As described by Nick, RnBaile is a mix of modern RnB music and Brazilian Baile Funk - providing a fresh taste on two of the fastest growing genres in music. We are witnessing first hand a pioneer in the industry with the creation of this genre.

With Nick’s most recent release “No One” he provides an upbeat feel to an emotional heartfelt single. Nick easily meshes elements of Jersey Club drums and Brazilian Baile Funk percussion to create a unique blend of cultural influences. The song's production forces you into a wave of emotions of a tear-jerker RnB song as well as a party and feel good song with the Brazilian Baile Funk. Nick has done an amazing job with “No One” with his curation of catchy lyricism, overall structure of the song, and the song's capacity to be a radio-friendly song. To pinpoint for you, Nick introduces a Western adaptation of Baile Funk music with the repetition of his lyricism in the pre-chorus, “Shots of vodka got me poured up, poured up/ Way you move that waist I need you so much, so much,” and repeats twice for the Baile Funk taste. If you want to hear more Baile Funk, especially some of Nick’s influences, please listen to artists like MC Kevin O Chris. You can really hear the raw emotion behind “No One” with Nick’s vocal arrangement for that RnB touch, as well the raunchy style of lyricism. This song is the perfect combination of “in my feelings' ' and “late night texts” providing a wide variety for your personal playlists. I asked Nick to describe “No One” and he said, “‘No One’ is raw, emotional, and the perfect amount of risqué both in vocals and production.”

This is Nick’s third release introducing this new RnBaile style of music with similar singles such as “Baile”; “Perrero”; and recent “No One”. Nick has truly started to grow a unique fanbase of his own, adapting his new audience to his new sound: RnBaile. For the song roll out for “No One”, Nick undertook an unique approach by using multiple immediate artists to fan engagement routes. Some of the promotional tools used by Nick included: Omegle - sharing his song with interested users online; TikTok - His consistency has allowed him to grow an organic audience who now engage with his music; and going to Baile Funk’s origin: Brazil, where he connected with individuals in the music industry and the general population. As of now, this is Nick’s biggest release to date with editorial playlist placements, immediate stream results, as well as working with videographer Dragan Andic filming the official music video! Dragan has worked with names like The Weeknd, NAV, and RealestK.
