The band Sorrymom, are ready to share their music beyond their state lines of Logan, Utah. Daniel Shaw Burt (vocals), Morgan Fish (guitar), Spencer Felix (bass), and Shane Wegner (drums) are known to be the ray of sunshine at their school of Utah State University. There’s nothing like taking a must-needed break from finals week and jamming out to their thrilling indie pop-rock sounds. Taking on early influences like Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash to the modern sounds of Valley and COIN, Sorrymom is a rush of adrenaline that will make you want to get on your feet.

Their story begins with Daniel, Shane, and Spencer when they met as seniors in high school. After graduating in 2015, they explored their sound in a band with two other members, formerly known as The Cronies. Finally, after Spencer had met Morgan at a rock and roll camp, the band set out for their new chapter as Sorrymom. The band has recently signed to their local record label WhySound Records.

Sorrymom has been well-received beyond their local town, gaining over 13,000 monthly Spotify listeners from all over the world. Their newest singles are leaving listeners wanting more, from hearing the funky jazz undertone in “Pretty Girl” to the electrifying indie rock in “Laundromat. With one more single and their debut EP set to release closer to the summer, to say we’re excited is surely an understatement.
