Los Angeles based folk trio Trousdale is making waves with the release of their third single “Wouldn’t Come Back.” Singer-songwriters Quinn D’Andrea, Georgia Greene, and Lauren Jones met in USC’s prestigious Popular Music program, and have been blessing us with their intricate harmonies and heartfelt lyrics since. Drawing inspiration from other powerful all female groups like The Chicks, HAIM, and The Staves, Trousdale’s harmonic genius and haunting lyrics continues to wow listeners with each release.

“Wouldn’t Come Back” is written, performed, and produced by  Quinn, Georgia, and Lauren, allowing them complete creative and artistic control… and it pays off. The track begins with the three women singing in unison, backed only by a single acoustic guitar. As the song progresses the unison cascades into harmony and the percussion begins to build, reaching a heart wrenching climax in the bridge that is sure to pull at your heartstrings. Trousdale’s unique ability to combine their honest, soulful lyrics with their hauntingly beautiful harmonies is unmatched, and is bound to attract continued success for the talented trio.

The group gained serious momentum in 2020 across multiple platforms, and now boasts 1.2 million likes and 100k followers on TikTok. Trousdale’s first release, a cover of “Wouldn’t It Be Nice” by The Beach Boys, has garnered almost 800,000 streams on Spotify, and their total monthly streams has reached more than 225,000 in less than four months. Their latest drop “Wouldn’t Come Back” has been featured on numerous Spotify discover playlists such as Fresh Folk, Roots Rising, and Afternoon Acoustic.

Trousdale’s folk music meets powerful girlband mentality breathes some much needed fresh air into the industry. The group is set to release their fourth single this February so keep on eye out for this power trio as they continue to create masterful music, and stream “Wouldn’t Come Back,” “Happy Anymore,” and “Wouldn’t It Be Nice,” available on all streaming platforms now!
