Araya Will Find Your "Favorite Sin"

We all have that one artist on our Spotify/Apple Music library that we adore. Fortunately for Sparky, Brooklyn-based artist Araya has been a gifted blessing with an array of music to choose from. His newest single “Favorite Sin” is the recent addition to his music arsenal, encapsulating his vocal prominence on a synthetic-styled alternative/rock ballad.

Araya's success had been a momentum shifter in 2021. Dropping his debut album Atlas earlier in the year, the 14 track project was an excellent body of work to display the skillfulness in the artists’ sound. Stand out songs such as “Color Palette”, “Tarantino” and “Gemini” have a special place for many, but to be honest from beginning to end the project is unmatched.

“Favorite Sin” is a twist from Araya’s notable Pop/R&B sound, but we are all for it. The Brooklyn artist always finds a way to spice their music, and “Favorite Sin” is a perfect example of what caliber of artist they are. Their slow and signature vocals arrange into a vibrant nostalgic rock chorus, something that feels straight out of the early 2000s. Giving space for a sweet guitar solo, the song is lined up to balance the production and Araya’s edgy vocal cadence, fitting into a spectacular masterpiece.

Whether it be the summer or winter night in NYC, “Favorite Sin” will make you feel like you’re living in a dream in the city that never sleeps. It’s time to stop sleeping on the Brooklyn native, as Araya is here to stay in the music scene.
