I first learned about the recording artist, LEW, back in 2018 when I went to a Curren$y concert and was blown away by his opening set. LEW put on an amazing performance and had a great stage presence; everyone in the room could see the superstar potential. During this set at the Brick & Mortar Music Hall in San Francisco, he brought out another bay area artist- Kiyomi. Together, they complimented each other’s voices and gave everyone in the crowd a night to remember.

Fast forward a few months, I went to a Dave East concert at the New Parish in Oakland and was pleasantly surprised when I saw LEW’s name on the ticket. He was continuing to grow and making his name ring bells around the Bay Area. I watched as LEW put on another great performance and knew he had something special going for him. Following his career over the past few years has continued to confirm his consistency, passion to grow, and motivation to succeed in the music industry.

Just recently, LEW reached a new milestone as he hit 1 million streams across all platforms on his track “waY bacK wheN.” The music video is also about to hit 100K views on Youtube. What makes LEW’s music so special is his ability to tell a story in his songs while maintaining a smooth melody. All of his music videos enhance the song and add cinematic value to the stories he is portraying through his music.

At the beginning of July 2022, LEW took the next big leap in his career, as he got the opportunity to headline his first show ever. It was only right that the venue he headlined at was Brick & Mortar; the same venue where he had opened for Curren$y just a few years prior. LEW recently released a new single titled, ‘thE passioN’, and he has a show coming up in Los Angeles at a venue called Adults Only on October, 11th 2022. Be on the lookout for “God’s Favorite!”
