Namani Gets in the Kitchen on “OMG / Cookin’ & Flippin’"

Namani, a young up-and-coming rapper from Lewisham, is steadily dropping bangers in the British underground hip-hop scene- making subtle waves and building a discography. Namani has quite the natural talent for rap, and never planned to start rapping. He accidentally discovered his talent during a freestyle session with friends, where they hyped him up immensely. With the support of his friends, Namani was inspired to explore and pursue an actual career in music. Music is still quite new for him, but the young rapper has already begun to make his mark on the hip hop scene.
Namani’s latest EP, “Text Language”, was entirely produced by El Londo and perfectly captures the essence of British summer and British youth. The beats are intricate with multiple layers to them, but still feel very chill, playful and funky- much like summer. Recently, the rapper has been dropping music videos for the EP, with a silly video for “OMG / Cookin’ & Flippin’” being the first last week. Namani clearly has a sense of humor and incorporates it beautifully in his art - the video is simple and funny but well produced, capturing the essence of the song despite being quite random. Namani frequently works with LAUZZA, an innovative and talented British director, and their chemistry is clear. Every song is accompanied by a captivating video. We feel that this will make Namani stand out as he continues to rise.
