Although money is not the motive for Rowdy, he keeps it real by stating that it is hard not to think about finances in this day and age, especially when you are an up and coming artist.

Rowdy shows off his lyrical capabilities throughout this song with his calculated flow and delivery–hard to believe that Rowdy is only 19 years old! This song shows just how wise Rowdy is. It is almost as if he lived a life before this one, and decided to share some of his life lessons through the music that he makes.

The production on the song sounds like it came straight from the 90s, heavily inspired by the New York boom bap scene. It features a beautiful piano that plays throughout the song, setting the mood perfectly. The percussion gives that classic boom bap swing that gives Rowdy the space to do whatever his heart contents. Rowdy’s beat selection is top tier. He knows what works with him, and I’ve been impressed with every beat I’ve heard his voice on.
