Cordae has successfully established himself as a solo rapper since separating from former rap trio YBN, which included Nahmir and Almighty Jay. Since then, he has released two albums: The Lost Boy and From a Birds Eye View, which were both respected and well received.

In terms of teaming up to make a hit, Cordae was in his bag when collaborating with current Silk Sonic star Anderson .Paak for their new single “Two Tens.”. The two have previously collabed on the track “RNP,” where they displayed their staggering chemistry and ability to interchange to share and float on verses.

The new single offers a familiar flow from Cordae that we’ve heard before over a vintage hip-hop instrumental that perfectly complements his flow and lyricism. Paak and Cordae pick up where they left off on “RNP” '' by continuing to jump in and out of pockets during each other’s verses to create a back and forth flow that blends perfectly.

It is no question that these two have a bond deeper than just the music, and with another hit, I am excited to see where they can take it in the future.
