Argentinian collective Grace & Badlove sweeps us away with their new single “Good to Know.” It is a soulful, upbeat, organized banger with an underlying coming-of-age vibe that speaks to our wounded souls. This is a song that is meant to pick you up and help you wade through all the nonsense you’ve been spitting–a turning point if you will.

Imagine this track as though you’ve peered into a group of friends at a party as each instrument offers you a different perspective into the journey of becoming who you were meant to be.

With a repeating piano loop to help you find your footing and push you towards consistency, the track offers the listener an encouraging purpose. This is the friend you go to who will give you the advice that you want to hear.

The extra snappy electric guitar solo is the friend you go to just be wild with. They are confident, bold, smooth, and guaranteed to offer you a high that carries you on toward living your best life.

The stringers enter with a sense of dignity that immerses you as you “communicate and leave your ego on the back burner” as the lead singer, Grace, says about the track herself. As she sings “steady is the way”, she offers us the reassurance that helps us to put one foot forward and continue the enlightened tour.

In the breakdown, the tambourine, trickling water sounds, and bells represent the friend that gives you the advice you need. They are your day ones, and you’ve bumped into them at the right time. They freeze the clock and for you to  take in this moment in full, and- hit home with their rich and genuine support. “Endless possibilities… endless possibilities” are the words driving home the message to begin your ride to the highest potential that you’re capable of.

“Good to Know” offers us a way to move forward. Although it may not seem like the clearest path, Grace tells us to look inward and do the work to make sure that the right doors open for us.

Grace & Badlove is led by Latin singer and composer Grace Portillo, and has gained a worldwide audience from her collaborations with musicians from all over the world.
